You Must Guard Your Thoughts.

In his literary work “As a Man Thinketh”, James Allen wrote:

“Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:—
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:
Environment is but his looking-glass.”
Your thoughts reflect what is in your heart. That is why it is so important to heal the pain that is in your heart. The thoughts that flow from your heart are very powerful and create your reality. Pain begets pain; joy begets joy; and fear begets fear. Changing your heart will change your reality. Think of it as a mathematical formula:

thought + belief + expectation of its manifestation = your reality

For example, when you think and act prosperously you will attract the riches of life which are not exclusively mercenary gain. On the other hand, when you think lack, you create a reality of unfulfilled dreams. Your thoughts dictate the quality of life you experience on a daily basis and create your present and your future. As you increase in spiritual power, you can manifest what you think into your reality. That is why you must purify your heart before God bestows you with such power. Otherwise, it would be like putting a child behind the wheel of a car and letting them drive to your destination. How much damage would be done to anything or anyone in the car’s path and would anyone in the car survive the ride?

Think on these questions. What do you focus on in your daily life? What are you manifesting in your life? Do you focus on thoughts that expand your spiritual consciousness or do you dwell on life’s trials and tribulations. Do you focus on thoughts that will promote your being or hinder your being.

Plato said “a grateful mind is a great mind which eventually attracts to itself great things. On the other hand, an ungrateful mind is a weak mind which eventually attracts to itself negative things.”

Why Do I Attract the Same Type Personalities Over & Over Again?

One author wrote: "Everything that happens to us, and every choice we make, is a reflection of what we believe about ourselves. We cannot outperform our level of self-esteem. We cannot draw to ourselves more than what we believe we are worth. The things we believe and say about ourselves come back to us in many ways. Self-motivation comes from self-knowledge. We must put faith in our ability to use our mind and spirit to picture our lives the way we want it to be. We must use inner strength and the power of our being to tear down the walls, break through the barriers and move through the obstacles with ease. Once our bodies are freed, we must train our minds to believe it." I invite you to share this thought with a friend and post your comments on http://pjoutlaw.blogspt.com/.
