God’s Purpose for Your Salvation (GPS)

GPS Principles

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the essence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1.

GPS Number 1: You must have faith in God. Faith is the expectation that your heavenly Father will provide for your every need according to His word. Faith operates like a bank account. Your faith is your deposit into your bank account with the heavenly father and your prayers make the withdrawals.

Faith can be one of the most challenging qualities to conquer as you rein in your personality to operate in Spirit. This tends to be true because of your life history. Generally, in childhood, you learn to rely on your sensory and cognitive perceptions. However, by the time you choose to accept the Holy Spirit in your life, you have experienced betrayals, disappointments, abandonment and other trials that have hurt you. Your historical tribulations cause you to distrust what you see and to fear the unseen. On the other hand, as a Christian, you are taught to trust in God who you can not see.

Faith is a prerequisite to the manifestation of great works. The Bible says "Faith without works is dead." As you accomplish works that you know you could not have done without Divine Power, your Faith in God becomes stronger. As your Faith becomes stronger, your works become greater. Faith will give you the strength to endure until the end.

These GPS principles are designed to help you navigate your way through life’s many challenges as you discover God’s purpose for your salvation (GPS). This writing contains specific spiritual principles to assist you as you embark upon your spiritual journey. Having not walked this way before, you may not have a point of reference upon which you may rely except for what you have learned in church. By incorporating these practical tools in your daily life, you can master your destiny and not fall prey to your adversary. You will encounter difficult challenges on your journey. However, you can overcome adversity and be victorious in your life.  Please visit this site for upcoming GPS Principles.  I invite you to dialogue with me regarding your faith.
